NCLD-Youth Launches New Website for Empowerment of Youth with Disabilities
The National Consortium on Leadership and Disability for Youth recently launched a new website containing information and resources on working with youth with disabilities. The site contains information about the disability movement and disability culture and youth leadership and development. NCLD-Youth seeks to promote and support development of youth leaders through five program areas: learning, connection, thriving, working, and leading.

Conference Call Focuses on Transition for Youth with Disabilities-
On November 9, Connect for Kids, a non-profit organization devoted to children’s issues and advocacy, hosted a conference call on youth with disabilities. The call was part of the organization’s efforts to address the needs and provide resources on at-risk youth populations, particularly those out of school and not employed.
